On the 19 th and 20st of September, there is Open House. There were a lot of visitors at the temple as the temple is a member of Open House London. Every year the temple is open to the public on Open house Day.
In fact, the temple is open to the public every day from 9.00 am to 6 pm; on weekdays, the temple grounds are open and at the weekend the grounds and main temple are open. The temple is not only open to the public for a visit but also to people who want to learn Buddhism or practise meditation. There are classes provided for those who want to practise meditation are on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00 pm until 8.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 4.00 pm until 5.30 pm. As for those who want to hear the teachings of the Buddha, there is a class on Sundays from 1 pm to 2 pm. Those who wish to ask questions can do so after every class.
Buddhism is a way of life which welcomes all who want to know or understand. All classes are free of charge. Those, who want to learn and practise, just turn up to the classes.
