Dhamma Is Nature
The Buddha said that even if he had not become enlightened, human beings would still have been born, got old and died but he himself investigated life and he found out the Dhamma, truths or the nature of life. Then he kindly taught the world these truths that have called ‘The Four Noble Truths’: Life is suffering or dissatisfaction, this suffering has a cause, there is freedom from suffering and the path leading to the cessation of suffering. The Buddha pointed out the path to real happiness which is called ‘The Eightfold path’; it begins with right understanding. If we have right understanding, right thought, right speech and right action etc. will follow us but if we have misunderstanding, evil thought, evil speech and evil action etc. will follow us. This is the law of cause and effect.
It is natural that human beings do still face suffering with Buddhism or without Buddhism but in Buddhism there are teachings about peace and a path leading to real happiness. Buddhism teaches us to see things as they really are, happiness or pain has a cause so we have to know the cause. The Buddha taught the world that if we do good actions, good effects will follow but if we do evil actions, evil results will follow. If we know the truth like this, even though we face happiness or pain, we will be fine because this is the nature of life.Leave a Reply
