The Boss

In the workplace, a boss is the most important person who we have to bear in mind and give precedence. There is a story which is a good reminder about the importance of bosses. Here is the story;

Once upon a time, there was an office where three people worked together. One was the boss, one was a personelle manager and one was a secretary. One day the boss took the personelle manager and the secretary to eat lunch at an old restaurant. In the restaurant, there were many old ornaments including an old lamp. While they were waiting for lunch, the boss rubbed the old lamp. Then a Genie came out from the old lamp, saying thanks to the three men for releasing her and gave three wishes to each of them, saying, “Whatever each of you wishes, please tell me and I’ll make your wish become true”.
The personal manager said, “Please let me go first. I want to be on holiday in Hawaii for two weeks”. Then his wish was granted. He was in Hawaii. And the secretary said, “Now it is my turn. Please let me be the richest lady in the world”. Then her wish was granted. She was the richest lady in the world. Finally, it was the boss’s turn. He said to the genie, “Now it is my turn. I wish both of them would come back to work for me at 1 pm”. Then both of them come back to work at 1 pm.
The moral of the story: at work, you have to let your boss come first. He must speak first, otherwise, you will end up like those in the story.
