You Are Creator
The Creator question is popular to ask in religious class. There is one story which can illustrate well about this. The story goes like this;
At one primary school, there was a religious class. A religious teacher was teaching his students about Creator. One of the students asked him “Where is Creator and who is Creator? The teacher answered that student, “You can find Creator here on earth and you are Creator”. When that boy heard that teaching ‘you are Creator’, he remembered that ‘I am Creator’.
That day he went back home with pride and confidence. When dinner time he accidentally broke the plate, then his mother came and usually she gave him a lesson, a little smack. That day he was so confident that he said to his mother, “Mum, you cannot punish me. You know! Who am I?” His mother was a bit surprised with what he had said and she asked him, “Who are you, then?” He answered with confidence, “Mum, I am Creator so you cannot smack me any longer”. The mother just said to him, “Then, you know! Who am I?” He looked at his mother a bit strangely and said to her with confidence, “Mummy, you are my mum”. “If I am your mummy, that means I’m a mother of Creator and then I can smack, you, my Creator son if you did something wrong. It is to remind you not to do it again. Is that right for Creator mother to smack Creator son?” The boy said acceptably, “Yes Mum, you are right”. And then he turned his bottom to his mother. She smacked him softly and taught him, “You must be careful. Next time don’t break it again, you understand, Creator son”. He said smilingly, “Yes, mummy, I will”.
The moral of the story is that we are all special and able to do better. We will be even more special if we listen to other people, and are teachable, respectful, grateful, responsible and humble. That is cool, isn’t it?
