Bournemouth Thai Festival

Last Sunday 1st August 2010, the Buddhapadipa temple was invited to give blessings at the Thai Festival in Bournemouth, Kings Park. This festival is held annually in August. It is a good festival in which people can experience Thai culture, for instance, Buddhist blessing, Thai classical dancing, Thai food etc.

It was a pleasant day as it was not too cold or too hot, it was just a lovely day. There were many enjoyable activities, many food stalls where people can try a variety of tastes, and at the Buddhist tent, there were blessings for people who wanted that, throughout the day. There you could also see the beautiful crafting and carvings of Mr Malcolm as he exhibited his art.

The day was full of happiness, fun, and blessings as it should always be on these occasions. On behalf of Thai people, I would like to say thank you to all who joined the festival and see you all again next year.
