Buddha
Buddha’s grove is where prisoners can sit; meditate or feel peace; attain calmness or serenity. It has been celebrated every year and is open to everyone to join. It is a very fortunate and good opportunity for those who stay in the prison because they can practice a good way of life to improve themselves.
They are not banned from development; they can change themselves for the better. The Buddha’s teachings act as a guidance which can support their lives or change their lives for better. Buddhist monks, whether associated with the Buddhist chaplain or not, wander to teach people including the prisoners.
Dhamma or the Buddha’s teachings, never exclude anyone just like the Buddha’s grove itself which never excludes anyone, so you are more than welcome to come and join us.
