FAREWELL TO THE VENERABLE SANGTHONG DHAMMACARO
On 3rd of January we bid farewell to Phramaha Sangthong Dhammacaro who has been a valuable and hard working monk at Buddhapadipa for the past eight years.
He has taught, helped and guided many students in his meditation classes. His comprehension and use of the English language enabled him to give Dhamma talks that were not only informative but could reach his students and help them in their understanding of The Buddha’s teachings.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by the many schools and organizations that visit our temple.
His work at the prison, teaching prisoners to meditate, was much appreciated by them and will be remembered.
In fact it can be said that he would go and teach and help whenever and wherever it was requested of him to do so.
And so we thank him for his enthusiastic contribution to the temples mission, which is to teach Buddhism and meditation to those who wish to learn.
So we say goodbye to Phramaha Sangthong and we give our very best wishes to him for his future.
