School Visits

The Buddhapadipa Temple receives many visitors each day. Many of these visitors are school parties that come to learn about Buddhism as part of their school curriculum. They are met by a monk, usually Pramaha Sangthong Dhammacaro, who leads them to the Temple.

The children are usually impressed by the glittering exterior of the Temple and once inside their eyes wander over the many murals that adorn the Temple walls. They and their teacher sit down ready to hear Pramaha Sangthong tell them about The Buddha and his teachings. The children listen intently to his twenty five minute talk and then they ask questions, they usually have many to ask.
These visits are very worthwhile for the children and the teachers as genuine interest is shown in the subject. As they leave the Temple and wander down to the house, where refreshments are served, they can be heard to be talking excitedly about their visit.

School parties are always welcome and an appointment can be made.
