Silajarini
The programme set up for them is not very tough; they start the day from 5 am and finish at 10 pm. Here is the detail; getting up at 5 am, doing morning chanting at 5.30 am, eating breakfast at 7.15 am and lunch at 11 am, doing evening chanting and following by Dhamma talk by the head monk at 6 pm. The time between, they practise standing meditation together with walking meditation, and sitting meditation. One thing they are encouraged to practise in their life is to respect each other as if they are in the same boat. They have to row the boat to the destination together. They do not obstruct each other in terms of living in harmony. Finally, they can reach their destination safely and happily as the project comes to an end, all practitioners are joyful, happy and successful according to their own practice. See you all next year in July. Leave a Reply
