The Historic Celebration Of 100 Years Of Buddhism In The Uk

One hundred years is a long history, which, I cannot imagine how much hard work that has been done. What I can see today is a great success that people, especially in the UK can learn and practise Buddhism.

It is more than a life mission, 100 years. It is a great occasion in which I can participate. It is a great celebration which reminds us to help each other to spread the teachings of the Buddha to those who want to learn and practise.

There are a lot of monks, international, who join the celebration that might be inspired to work more to disseminate Buddhism. It is a good example of Bhikkhu Ananda Metteyya who dedicated his life to dissemination of Buddhism. He is a legend who had been working hard through his life time to bring Buddhism to the West. It is a great job as leaving legacy to posterity here and now.
