Roy Brabant-Smith 2008From time to time, I visit Mr. Roy Brabant-Smith at Nursing Home. I have known him since I have been in the UK; he is a founder of the Lay Buddhist Association of the Buddhapadipa Temple, Wimbledon, London SW19 5HJ.
I can say that he is my first advisor who helped me in English. He inspired me in many ways to give Dhamma talks in English at the Buddhapadipa Temple.
Now he is old and stays at Nursing Home and he cannot come to the temple. But, at the time when he was able to drive he came a lot. Now that he is old and unable to come to us, it is the time for us to pay him a visit.
I myself this year have visited him three times and every time he sees me, he is very happy and so am I. Sometimes he cannot remember me or my name but it doesn’t matter; I will go as long as he stays there.
