The Buddha taught the world that ‘everything is possible’ if they learned and put what they learned into practice. It is right that we should start with really good, motivational and inspiring teaching. I’m sure that if we start with an ‘everything-is-possible’ attitude to living, we never fail. Likewise, if we start with the attitude that everything in life is impossible, we fail before we start. All things are difficult to achieve; but, if we bear in our mind that everything is possible, we can be successful in our life and achieve what we want. “Everything is possible” is a blessing which is needed in this world. If I was to be asked “What would I like to do?”, I would certainly answer, “I want to do the possible”. There is an inspiring story about being possible told by Unknown Author which I would like to share it with you all. Here is the story:
At a school, the teacher asked her class what each wanted to become when they grew up. A chorus of responses came from all over the room: "I want to be a football player" ,"…a doctor," "…an astronaut," "…the President of America," "…a fireman," "…a teacher," "…a racing car driver" , “…a singer”.
Everyone expressed their idea and ambition, except Tommy. The teacher noticed he was sitting there quiet and still. So she said to him, "Tommy, what do you want to be when you grow up?" "Possible" Tommy replied. "Possible?" asked with surprise the teacher. "Yes," Tommy said. "My mum is always telling me I'm impossible. So when I get bigger, I want to be possible."
I do agree with the answer ‘I want to be possible’. It is true that if we start with impossibility, everything is impossible for us. So we must begin our life with being possible.
Learn to be possible, practise possibility and everything is possible for us.
